Howard grew up in the small town of Fort Dodge, Iowa. He put himself through school working a variety of jobs at places like supermarkets, factories, libraries and trucking companies. He graduated from the University of Iowa, College of Law, in 2005, where he was a writer and editor for the Journal of Corporation Law.
After law school, Howard came to work for an insurance defense firm in Davenport. It gave him valuable experience behind the scenes and taught him a lot about the other side’s playbook. Just as importantly, he realized that his passion was to help people who have been injured, not insurance companies. In July 2006, he came to work for what would become Warner & Zimmerle.
Over the last decade, Howard has helped hundreds of injured people and obtained millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts. Over the years he has developed a strong commitment to safety. He has seen what happens when drivers are reckless on the roads, when nursing homes don’t follow their safety guidelines, or when employers put employees in dangerous situations. He hopes that his cases will do some small part in keeping the world safe for others.
He has also seen how devastating an injury can be to people and their families. Because he understands how important it is for an injured person to get their life back on track, he pursues every case aggressively.
Howard practices throughout Iowa and Illinois, but primarily in the Quad Cities and surrounding area.
